In this particular period, ongoing projects are being maintained and progress on the addition of important features is more topical than ever.
Since our last major update on 18/02/2020, some functionalities have been added as developments have taken place.
On the menu :
Object and pre-header
New functionality for saved blocks
Overall colours (account-related)
Icon pack for social networks and tutorial on how to use them
Updating the editorial interface
New API
Object and pre-header
It is now possible to fill in the subject and preheader (preview text) directly in the "Template" tab of a newsletter.
Of course, you can insert plain text or choose to add automatic variables.
Please note the following:
If you use another system to manage the object and the preheader, then it will be unchanged and you don't need to intervene manually.
The saved blocks
Until then, it was not possible to modify a block stored in the library, you had to delete the original block and create a new one. Now you can make changes to the saved blocks and save them with a few clicks.
Teasing 🤭 :
This is the first step in a feature that will allow you to make changes to saved blocks and apply the changes to all newsletters where the block is used.
Overall colours (account-related)
In our last major update, we added the ability to save up to 5 colors on a newsletter template. Today's update completes this feature.
You can now save up to 8 colors at the account level. The saved colors are therefore accessible on all your existing and future templates.
Icon pack
In the template editor, there is no preconceived block to add links to your social networks. That's why we provide you with a downloadable pack containing a multitude of icons from your favorite social networks and a tutorial to help you add them in your templates.
Updating the editorial interface
You have given us a lot of feedback, especially on the ergonomics of the interface. We have therefore made a few changes to clarify the interface and make it more readable.
New API
The technical team has been working on the development of the second version of the Mediego API, which will eventually expand the configuration possibilities of the system and allow for the retrieval of statistics.
The documentation of this new version is already available here.
